No need to panic over false alarms: the ABUS GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 initially responds to movement of the lock with an intelligent pre-alarm. If the attack on the lock continues, an audible alarm sounds at 100 dB.
SECURITY CON PRE-ALARM The ABUS GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 disc lock sets standards in quality, protection and convenience. An intelligent pre-alarm signals movement of the lock and falls silent again in the event of a false alarm. If the attack on the lock continues, an alarm sounds at a volume of at least 100 dB. Thanks to 3D Position Detection, the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 reliably detects movement of the lock and initially triggers the intelligent pre-alarm, which stops after seven beeps. Only then, if further movement occurs, does the full alarm sound at 100 dB for 15 seconds. The automatic brake disc detection system also detects whether the bicycle lock is fitted to the disc. This allows the GRANIT™ Detecto XPlus 8077 2.0 to be conveniently transported when closed without triggering the alarm function. The different-coloured LED show the activity and battery status at a glance. The specially hardened steel used for the locking pin, housing and load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism provides the necessary material strength. The integrated ABUS XPlus cylinder has been optimised to resist tampering, such as picking.
