During the development of the GRANIT™ Super Extreme 2500, great attention was paid to achieving the best possible resistance to attacks with cordless electric grinders, as attempts to break bicycle locks this way are becoming increasingly common in major cities. Our special Wolfram carbide material blend around the shackle and lock body is the answer to this trend and makes life even harder for thieves. The shackle, housing and load-bearing locking parts are made from hardened steel. This extremely robust D-lock, with its "Made in Germany" quality, secures bicycles against brutal theft attempts. The ABUS XPlus™ cylinder offers additional protection against skilled opening methods such as picking. The USH 2500 lock bracket is easy to fit to the bicycle: plastic-coated metal fastening straps and optional screw holes provide flexibility. To prevent the lock from moving during a ride, both ends of the shackle are secured firmly to the USH 2500. The shackle's large locking area makes it quick and easy to find numerous locking options. Thieves, however, struggle with this robust bicycle lock: even a cordless grinder meets its match here.
